My husband had said this restaurant was great. We had a very impromptu date on Sunday. Though busy we were seated in a great little spot and served with our meal very promptly. Services was very friendly. Food was amazing! We had fish and chips and a bowl of prawns. So fresh and tasty and no greasy after effect that you normally get from fish and chips. Will definitely go back.

We went for lunch to the Anglers Restaurant. The restaurant is a-la carte with some really nice dishes at reasonable prices. The lady who took our order was very friendly. We ordered the Wagu Beef Burger. It was one of the tastiest hamburgers that we have had in a long time. The meat pattie was thick and perfectly char grilled and it came on a really nice toasted bun with salad which included lettuce, tomato, yummy cooked onions and beetroot. It also came with a large serve of chips. We ate our lunch in the nice open air deck in front of the hotel. While you are visiting the hotel and restaurant take the time and have a look at the old photographs of Brooklyn, the railway and the bridge over the Hawkesbury River in the early days.

Specialty restaurants Mooney Mooney Club need to be booked in advance, especially outdoor landscape seats. In addition to dining in the restaurant, if you have already finished dining nearby, you can also choose to order coffee at the takeaway window of this restaurant and sit outside to enjoy the scenery. You can only travel by car to travel in the suburbs more easily. Mooney Mooney District is a good place for outings and lunches in Sydney, with pleasant scenery, and there are famous Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed oyster restaurants and meat pie snack bars nearby. Great stop over for a good coffee and a pretty big menu of pies pastries, burgers and sandwiches. Located on the Old Pacific Highway. Don&#39;t be worried about the hundreds of bikes, motor &amp; push, or the many people in Lycra (that probably shouldn&#39;t be wearing Lycra) Its all good fun. But it is VERY cold in winter, so get in early if you want a seat inside near the fireplace. Great sunny spots outside to watch the many cars and bikes coming and going if the weather permits.

Brooklyn is a popular picnic area right next to Hawks berry river. There are a handful restaurants here and this is the most popular one. Not fancy at all but their seafood is very fresh. We had 2 different kinds of seafood baskets and all of ingredients including salad and chips were fresh and perfectly cooked (fresh, boiled and deep fried). Very popular among locals, you need to book it over the weekend.

We eat here often. You have to book, on weekends anyhow. seafood, seafood, seafood. Oysters are always fresh. This is an offshoot from the co-op so you would expect no less. Fish is ALWAYS good. Cannot miss. Grilled or fried. Chips are included and the salad is fresh and well dressed. Cannot say a bad word. About the food and service that is. Parking is a nightmare!
